OUR GOAL

“To determine the feasibility of selected bioprocesses to provide reclaimed water with a quality compatible with its safe use in either agricultural applications, or for human consumption”.

Did you know?

Water is one of the most abundant compounds on Earth                      (1,400 million km ) but only 0.5% is fresh water, available for human use.

THE PROJECT

Two main lines of action are defined: recovery of water from domestic sewage and recovery of nitrate polluted-groundwaters.

WHO ARE WE?

A team of researchers with extensive experience in the development and application of environmental biotechnologies.

Did you know?

Domestic water accounts for about 

11% of the worldwide water consumption.
